Today I would like to share a card that I made last Friday for a Make & Take at our Demo meeting. I've been seeing so many gorgeous cards made with this set. After seeing Lisa Foster's card, I knew I wanted to make something using the First Edition Specialty DSP and I loved her idea using the Mini Library Clips and Jewelry Tag punch. I also love how the DSP was used to make it look like something was typed on the paper. I wanted to use red, so I decided to go with Cherry Cobbler and used the Cherry Cobbler Seam Binding ribbon. I also used the new Fashionable Hearts embossing folder from the Occasions mini catalog. Everyone loved the card.
Supplies Used:
Stamps: You're My Type
Paper: Cherry Cobber, Basic Black, Very Vanilla, & First Edition Specialty DSPInk: Cherry Cobbler & Black Stazon
Other: Fashionable Hearts Embosslits die, Jewelry Tag punch, Mini Library Clips, Cherry Cobbler Seam Biding ribbon & Stampin' Dimensionals©
Also, I wanted to share a photo of how I store my old style punches. My husband put up rails on the inside of the closet door for me to hang them on. Another way to maximize on space when you have a small room:)
If you look closely, you will see that I have a red dot on the punches that have retired. I do this so I won't accidently use retired items in workshops, demo swaps, etc.
Thanks so much for coming by today. I hope your day is great!
The matter that you provide is worth our time and energy.
