Mixed Bunch Get Well

Hello Stamp Friends!

Sorry it's been a while since my last post. First I had to get cards done for a swap and then I had to make 3 projects for another stamp date.

Today, I would like to share the card that I made for the swap. I got the idea for this card from Jennifer Weide (Sunflower Stamper). I fell in love with her card when I saw it and thought I'd do my best to change it, but try to live up to the beauty of the origina card:) I chose to use In-Colors for the flowers and proceeded to stamp the boldest flower in the mixed bunch stamp set. I'm not sure what the problem was, but I couldn't get a clean image, even after sanding the block, etc. So I had to make it using the punch with the card stock. I was able to get a nice flower center, so I punched them out and added some pearls. It still looked a little plain to me, so I just used the Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder to add some texture to the layer in the background. I got a lot of compliments on it, so that made me really happy.

Paper: Blush Blossom, Pool Party, Wisteria Wonder, Basic Gray & Whisper White

Ink: Blush Blossom, Pool Party, Wisteria Wonder & VersaMark

Other: Big Shot & Bigz Frame, Oval Scallop die, Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder, Whisper White 3/8” ribbon, Punches (Blossom & 1” circle), White EP & Stampin' Dimensionals©
