Welcome & another Blog Candy Giveaway:)

Hello stamp friends!

I would like to apologize for my absense lately. I have been stamping, but was also busy getting all of my tax papers in order and finally had my taxes done last weekend. I'm so glad that's over with!

I have some good news to share. A few weeks ago, my friend and customer, TJ decided to take the plunge and she joined the Stampin' Up! family. TJ is my second recruit. I'm so excited that she will now be ble to attend the demo only events with our group:)

Welcome, TJ!!!

Last year, while at Convention... we received a stamp set for completeing all of our classes. It's called Workshop Words. I remembered there being a stamp in the set to welcome new recruits. I had also seen an adorable card when visiting Kay Kalthof's blog and decided to case it, but changed the sentiment to the one in the Workshop Words set as a Welcome card for TJ. Thank you Kay for sharing your beautiful work:)

I know I had promised to do another blog candy giveaway for my birthday. Well, my birthday was the 24th, so I'm a bit late, but nevertheless I'm keeping my word! So for a chance to win this brand new clear-mount Afterthoughts stamp set, please leave a comment telling me how you feel about losing the 5 in-colors (Blushing Bride, Concord Crush, Peach Parfait, Pear Pizzazz & Poppy Parade). I'm so sad to see them go. They have to be my favorite set of in-colors ever! Poppy Parade was my absolute favorite!
The deadline for this drawing will be Sunday, April 8th at midnight. I will use Random.org to decide the winner and will make the announcement on Monday morning.

    Gorgeous card! I also feel sad seeing those gorgeous colors go, especially Pear Pizzazz - that was my favorite color!

    Congrats to TJ!! I am really sad to see them go too!! My favorite is Poppy Parade and Peach Parfait. I just hope that in the future they decide to add them to the Permanent lineup!! If not, I did buy a bunch of extra to last me a while!! But what is exciting about it, is that WE HAVE NEW COLORS COMING IN ONE MONTH!!!! I just can't wait!!

    Congrats on your recruit! I am sad to be loosing the In Colors, I've completely fallen in love with Poppy Parade and Pear Pizazz. I've just recently started using Blushing Bride and I'll be sad to loose that as well because it is my favorite pink right now.

    I too love those colors. I am a new demo, so I decided to buy a few pack of that paper. Those colors goes with so many of the DSP. Hate to see them go.
