Showcasing Heather S.

Hello Stamp Friends!

Today I would like to share the projects that Heather S. had for us to make. For her first project, she had a technique called Stamp Resist. Using Glossy card stock, we stamped the various stamps from the set Circle Circus. (After stamping the images, you would then cut them into strips.) Then we sponged every other one using Basic Grey and Rich Razzleberry ink. I think I over-sponged or didn't let it dry long enough, because mine came out lighter than the others did, but I still like it:) This technique has a very cool effect.

Next, was this cute little card. It measures 4 1/4 x 4 1/4". We inked up the Medallion stamp (now retired) with Whisper White craft ink and stamped on the Poppy Parade card stock (also retired). Then we scored the Everyday Enchantment DSP from SAB and did this very cool fold. Then we layered Old Olive and Baja Breeze scallop edges and wrapped Linen Thread around the scallops. We added a Pumpkin Pie button to the center of the Medallion. Love this card! So pretty:) The sentiment was from Trendy Trees which also has retired. (So sad to see so many of my favorite products go, but I can't complain after seeing the new catalog. My wish list is very, very long!:)

Last is Heather's 3-D project. This card box was made out of a 12 x 12 piece of Soft Suede card stock. We also used the Everyday Enchantment SAB DSP for this project and the flower was made using the Fun Flowers Bigz die and the Big Shot. I love this! Absolutely gorgeous!

Thanks so much Heather for your awesome projects!

I will be back tomorrow with the projects that I made.

It's such a beautiful day here in Maryland. I feel like getting some supplies together and heading outside on my porch to stamp. We just got a new patio set  last week and it's only suppose to get to 75 degrees today. It is a little breezy though, so if things start flying away, I might have to come back in:)

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a great day!
