September Paper Pumpkin Share

Good Morning Stamp Friends!

Today I would like to share my September Paper Pumpkin Projects.

The first one was made exactly as the directions in the kit, which I love! The little bag is full of Kraft Caramels.

One of the things I love about the Paper Pumpkin kit, is you can make other projects with it. I love searching YouTube and Pinterest for other ideas. I found this darling little Scarecrow on YouTube. It was designed by Lisa Curcio's daughter. You can see her post here, which includes the how-to video. Thanks Boo for sharing your awesome Paper Pumpkin ideas! My kids went crazy over it!

Are you on the fence about joining Paper Pumpkin? If so, there are so many reasons to join!

What you receive each month is a complete surprise. It's like getting a Christmas gift each month! I get so excited when I see that beautiful Red box in the mail each month! Check out the kits for Jun-Sept!

Each kit comes with everything needed (with the exception of scissors) to make what's in the kit. Once you've signed up, you will be able to order kits and/or refill kits from previous month's.

You can make them as they are pictured (full instructions with photos are included), you can put your own twist on the kit or check Pinterest for ideas.

If you have any questions about Paper Pumpkin, please let me know. Thank you for coming by and I hope you have a great day!

Fall Shoebox Swap Share

Good Morning Stamp Friends!

I'm sorry it has been so long since I've shared projects on my blog. As many of you know, Windows 98 became obsolete and when that happened, so did the scanner I used to scan the cards that I was sharing on my blog. Therefore, I had to find another way to share them. For the longest time, I've been trying to figure out how bloggers take their photos. Some had good advice, but when I tried, it didn't work for me. Well, I follow Patsy Waggoner's blog. She has a special step-by-step post on how to make your own light box. I took some notes and did some shopping and though my photos aren't perfect, I finally have a way to share project photos again. (Thanks a million, Patsy!!!:) So you should see more posts from me.

Today I would like to share photos from the Shoebox Swap I participated in over the weekend. Keep in mind that some demos case their projects, so if I share something that you designed, please let me know so I can give you credit. Here are the beautiful cards:

Deb W.

Melinda B.

Karin T.

Sheila S.
(This one was made with envelope punch board. There are two envelope pockets on the inside. Great for giving to grandparents with photos and/or gift cards.)

Becky F.

TJ G.

Candi H.

And for my card, I chose to make a Flip card.

Supplies Used:

Stamps: Thankful Forest Friends
Paper: Early Espresso, Tangelo Twist, Whisper White & Into the Forest DSP
Ink: Pads: Early Espresso for bear, Tangelo Twist for Fox  Markers: Tangelo Twist, Early Espresso, Crumb Cake, Mossy Meadow, Old Olive & Daffodil Delight
Other: Flip Card Framelits Dies, Circle Framelits Dies, 7/8 Scallop Circle & 3/4" Cricle punches, Into the Woods Elements & Stampin' Dimensionals©

What do you think? Aren't they fun?

Thanks so much for coming by today and I hope you'll add me to your reading list if you haven't already. Have a great day!

To show our support for Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we're going PINK . . . or at least our October boxes are! And because we know our subscribers want to share the love too, we will be making a donation on their behalf to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF).

When you sign up by October 10, 2015, Stampin' Up! will donate $1 for every active Paper Pumpkin subscriber. Plus, an additional $1 for every new subscriber. Together, we will make a difference!

Here's how you can help:
  • Subscribe! If you're new to Paper Pumpkin, click here to get started. Your first kit will arrive in a limited-edition pink box that you'll want to hold onto forever-and we'll donate $2 because you're new!
  • Stay active if you're a subscriber so we can donate $1 for you. Only those who receive the October shipment will be counted for the donation.
  • Spread the word! Help us get as many new subscribers as possible. Every current subscriber adds $1 and for new subscribers it's doubled, so let's get the word out and raise as much as possible.
More About BCRF

The Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF) advances the world's most promising research to eradicate breast cancer. Founded by Evelyn H. Lauder in 1993, BCRF has raised more than $550 million to fuel discoveries in tumor biology, genetics, prevention, treatment, survivorship and metastasis, making it one of the largest non-governmental funders of breast cancer research in the world. This year BCRF has invested $58.6 million in research, to support over 235 researchers at leading medical institutions across six continents, including $11.6 million to the international Evelyn H. Lauder Founder's Fund focused on metastasis. By spending 91 cents of every dollar on research and public awareness programs, BCRF remains one of the nation's most fiscally responsible nonprofits. BCRF is the only breast cancer organization with an "A+" from CharityWatch, and has been awarded Charity Navigator's highest rating of four stars 13 times since 2002. For more information, please visit: www.bcrfcure.org.

What you receive each month is a complete surprise! Check out the kits for May-Aug.

Each kit comes with everything needed to make the project for that month. You can make them as they are pictured (full instructions with photos are included) or you can put your own twist on the kit or check Pinterest for ideas.
