Demo Event Swaps & Wonderfall card

Hello Stamp Friends!

I can't believe it's October already. The holidays are upon us and I've been super busy working on gifts for Christmas, so sorry for the little gap in my posting.

I'm back today with some of the swaps that I received at the Fall Demo Event I went to a couple weeks ago .

It's hard to see in the photo, but the bat is on fishing line, so he hangs when you open the card:)

Aren't they great? Thank you so much ladies for the beautiful cards! I will be back tomorrow with the second half of the swaps.

Next, I would like to share a card that I made using the "Wonderfall" stamp set from the Holiday mini catalog. I started with an Early Espresso base and a More Mustard layer, which I ran through the Big Shot using the Fancy Fan embossing folder. I only embossed the top, I adhered Orchard Harvest DSP at the bottom and separated it using Early Espresso Stitched Grosgrain ribbon. I added a Designer Ribbon Slide before adhering the ribbon to the back of the layer. Then I adhered it to the card base. I stamped the leaf images and rock and rolled them in Early Espresso Ink. (I noticed the rock-n-roll technique doesn't work as well with the new ink pads:( The colors don't blend as well.)

I used the largest leaf as the main focal point and added an Early Espresso layer behind it and it was put on the card using dimensionals. I cut out the other two leaves and also put them on with dimensionals. I stamped the acorn twice. Once in Early Espresso and once in More Mustard. I then cut out the botton of the one, stamped in More Mustard and glued it over the the Early Espresso one. The I adhered it to the card with a dimensional. Can you tell I like Stampin' Dimensionals©? Last, I stamped the sentiment and punched it using the Oval punch and I punched the Scallop Oval background layer in Early Espresso.

What do you think? Does it put you in the Fall mood? I know it did it for me, but it didn't last long as it's back up to 85 degrees today. I wish this weather would make it's mind up! I'm definitely ready for Fall!

Thanks so much for coming by today. I hope you will come back tomorrow to see the last of the Fall Demo Event Swaps.

I hope you have a wonderful day!
