Owl Occasions Birthday

Good Morning Stamp Friends!

Today I would like to share the birthday card I made for my friend, Joyce.

I'd been dying to make something with this set. I knew I wanted to use the Labels Collection Framelits for the frame, so I cut out the white layer. Next I stamped the branch, the leaves in Old Olive, the presents in Real Red and Pumpkin Pie, the balloon in Marina Mist, then I decided to change it to Daffodil Delight, so I cut it out and added it with a dimensional. Then I reached for the Rich Razzleberry ink. That's when I realized that I was using all of the colors in the Polka Dot Parade DSP. I thought I would have to figure out a way to use the DSP as well. I wound up cutting strips and used it for the background. I made the card base and the background Chocolate Chip. I left the bottom white and added the sentiment. I added the ribbon to separate the DSP and the sentiment.
