Baby Cards

Happy Monday! I hope you had a nice weekend. The weather was warm and we got a lot done around the house, so I'm ready to get back to stamping!

Today I have some baby cards to share. I had to make one for a girl and a boy. I loved the little punched duck that I saw on LeeAnn Greff's blog, so I decided to case it. I too went with a round frame and used the Island Floral Bigz die for the scallops behind the main image. I used the Love Birds Simply Scrappin' kit for the DSP on the baby girl card. The hearts were from the adhesive sheets that came in the kit. For the baby boy card, I used the Nursery Suite DSP. I used the small heart punch and punched hearts out of  Bashful Blue & Pear Pizzazz cardstock. I love the way they turned out.

Supplies Used:

Stamps:
Paper: Early Espresso, Whisper White, So Saffron, Blushing Bride, Pear Pizzazz, Baja Breeze, Pumpkin Pie, Whisper White, Nursery Suite DSP & Love Birds Simply Scrappin' kit
Ink: Early Espresso
Other: Punches: 1", 1 3/4" & 2 1/2" circles, Two-step bird, Own punch, large & scallop Ovals, Small heart, & Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border, Island Floral Bigz die, Perfect Polka dots embossing folder & Stampin' Dimensionals

Are any of my blogging friends attending the Stampin' Up! Convention this year? This will be my first time going. I'm so excited I can hardly contain myself! Actually, I'm doing pretty good, considering I've been super busy attending lots of demo events, meetings and I even joined joined a group swap. The time is flying by. I can't wait for June 1st when we will get to find out what we can pre-order from the new 2011-2012 Idea Book & Catalog! I'm dying to see the new In-colors! We will also find out what Stampin' Up! items we will have to say farewell to. I hope none of my favorites will be going:( Oh, what an exciting time to be a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator!!!

Ok, enough of my rambling. LOL! I just can't help it!

Thanks so much for coming by. I hope you have a great day and a terrific week:)

Hello Blossoms Gift Tag

Good Morning!

A couple weeks ago when I went to a demo event, someone brought an adorable set of gift tags. I loved them so much that I decided to make one of my own. I just love this new "Hello Blossoms" stamp. My favorite color family is the Brights Collection, so I decided to go with the SAB Ice Cream Parlor DSP, which is no longer available. (Sorry) I used Markers to stamp the main image, then I ran the marker over the letters again and punched them out using the 1/4" circle punch. I used the little circle punch in the Itty Bitty punch pack to punch circles from scraps of Melon Mambo, Daffodil Delight, Marina Mist, Regal Rose & Pumpkin Pie. I put them on with dimensionals and then put the letters on using glue dots. I love the way it turned out.

Supplies Used:

Stamps: Hello Blossoms
Paper: Pacific Point, Whisper White & Ice Cream Parlor DSP
Ink: Melon Mambo, Daffodil Delight, Marina Mist, Regal Rose, Pumpkin Pie & Old Olive Markers
Accessories: Two Tags die, Dimensionals & 3/8" Daffodil Delight Taffeta ribbon

Thanks so much for coming by and I hope you have a great day!

Mother's Day cards...

Happy Tuesday!

I'm a little behind posting my Mother's Day cards. I was hoping to share a photo of my mom and I, but I haven't been able to get the photo yet:(

Here is the card that I made for my mom. Her favorite color is blue.

Supplies Used:

Stamps: Fabulous Florets & All Holidays
Paper: Pacific Point, Wild Wasabi, Whisper White & Beyond the Garden DSP
Ink: Pacific Point, Daffodil Delight & Wild Wasabi
Accessories: Big Shot, Top Note die, Square Lattice embossing folder, Ice Cream Parlor buttons, Basic Rhinestones, & White Organdy ribbon

I used the same stamp set and design for this card that I made for my Mother-In-Law. The only difference is I used the Fire Rhinestones, because there wasn't a Pumpkin colored button in the SAB buttons.

Supplies Used:

Stamps: Fabulous Florets & All Holidays
Paper: Melon Mambo, Tangerine Tango, Wild Wasabi, Whisper White & Beyond the Garden DSP
Ink: Wild Wasabi, Melon Mambo & Tangerine Tango
Accessories: Big Shot, Top Note die, Square Lattice Embossing Folder, Scallop Edge punch, Fire Rhinestones, & White Organdy Ribbon

I had a wonderful Mother's Day and I hope you all did too!

April Showers bring May fun!!!

Hello stamp friends!

I hope you all had a great weekend! My weekend started off bad, as my 6-month old puppy, Tebow got violently ill. I had to take him to the animal hospital and after sitting with him for 4 1/2 hours, I had to leave him there overnight for tests. It was late when I got home. I still had swaps that I needed to finish for the next day, but I had an awful headache, so I went to bed. I woke up at 3am, so I put coffee on and called to see how Tebow was doing. They said he was better and I could pick him up at 8am. So I worked on my swaps until it was time to go. Once I got Tebow home and got my stamp supplies together, I left for the day to attend 2 stamp events. One was an all-day thing, and the other was at 2pm. So I left the first event in the middle, went to the second and when it was over, I went back. LOL! It was an exhausting day, but it was so worth it! I'm so glad that I didn't have to miss anything. The talent is amazing and I came home totally inspired! (Thank you, Debbie & Kathy:) I had the best time!

I know I promised to share a more current picture of Tebow, so here's my silly baby!

He is just the sweetest thing! I can't tell you how relieved I am that he's OK.

I also wanted to share the swap that I made for the first event on Saturday. I used a lot of punches on this card, including the new Blossom  Boquet Triple layer punch.I really like the way it turned out.
