Teacher Thank You & Blog Candy

Hello stamp friends!!

Today I would like to share a card that I made for the teacher for the last day of school. I don't have any school related sets. The only stamp that I knew I could use for a teacher was the apple from the soon to be retired "Tart & Tangy" stamp set. Then I remembered that I had bought some rub-ons a while back that I was planning to use for a scrapbook page someday. I wound up using them to make the top border of the card and the main image. What do you think?

Supplies Used:

Stamps: Tart & Tangy
Paper: Real Red, Basic Black, Garden Green, Daffodil Delight, Whisper White & Just Add Cake DSP
Ink: Real Red, Garden Green & Chocolate Chip markers
Other: Punches: (Spiral, 1 1/4" & 1 3/8" circles, small star (retired)), School Days rub-ons (retired), Mini Clip & Dimensionals.

Blog Candy!!!

For a chance to win this Unmounted, Level 1 Birthday Bakery Clear Mount stamp set, all you have to do is leave a comment on this post telling me which item/items you will miss the most on the retired lists. You have until Monday night at 11:59 pm Stampin' Up! time:) I will post the winner on Tuesday morning. If you already have this stamp set, I have a couple other dups, so just let me know when you win if you have it or not and maybe I have something you don't have.

I believe there are some rules about out of the country winners. If you are out of the country and win, I won't be able to send you this stamp set, but I would love to send you 3 cards made by me personally:)

I want to thank you very much for reading my blog and for your very kind comments. They mean the world to me:)

I hope you have a great weekend!!!!

  3. I don't believe there is a card that you have mad that I have not loved. You are amazing. There are several sets that I hate to see retire but there are so many new and beautiful sets that I can't wait to get my hands on. You are truly gifted. Cathleen
